Corroboree Lodge is located on the snow in Perisher Valley within the Kosciuszko National Park, Australia. We are on Kosciuszko Road and are located only 300metres from the Perisher Skitube Terminal and less than 150metres from the base of the Perisher Quad Express Chair Lift.
Perisher Valley is only a 5 hour drive from Sydney. It’s an easy drive via Canberra, Cooma and Jindabyne and more than half the driving is on dual carriage freeway.
As we are in the Kosciuszko National Park, everyone is obliged to pay an Entry Fee of $17.00 /day per vehicle during Summer and $29.00 /day during winter. Annual passes are available to purchase at the entry gate to the Park for about $190.00.
From June to October, the National Park Authorities require that all motorists must carry properly fitting snow chains in all vehicles (4WD vehicles are exempt).
PLEASE NOTE: There is NO OVERNIGHT PARKING during winter at Perisher Valley. We recommend that you use one of the following options if you are driving to the area.
Free Parking and take the SkiTube
You can park your car at the bottom of the Skitube Terminal at Bullocks Flat which is about 15kms from Jindabyne and is well signposted on the road to Thredbo. The Skitube runs regularly and will take only 15 minutes to reach the Perisher Terminal. Bullocks Flat is NOT in the National Park so it is NOT necessary to pay for Park Entry or carry snow chains. Parking at Bullocks Flat is free.
Valet Car Parking
As the Return price of the Skitube ticket is quite expensive, an alternatively method to get to Perisher is to use Valet Car Parking. Please contact the following:
